What girl doesn't love her Grandpa...right. I love it when he comes to visit us. I extra love (emphasis on the improper English) that my children love him. Their relationship with him is almost like an unfulfilled relation that I wanted to have with my Great Grandpa, PaPa. I loved him. He passed away when I was five. All I remember is the way I felt about him, just plain happy (feeding the ducks together). The kind of happy this cute girl is feeling...
I am so happy that "ilcapo" has stuck around (much to his dismay sometimes) long enough to have a REAL and Lasting relationship with our children. All I heard for several days after he left was how much they loved him, missed him and wanted him to come back. We didn't even have any complaints this time from Chase about giving up his room.
We had so much fun.
I especially love hearing him tell stories. I wish I had a better memory. He told us this great story about how they got their first cat, "Francis" (the first of I think 13 Francises). It would be such a wonderful children's book. I need to commission Dave or my mother-in-law to illustrate it. And there were so many more good times.
We love you Great Grandpa! And in the words of Boz II Men, "It's So Hard To Say Goodbye." xoxo

What a great picture of them all with him! I am so glad they had fun. You're lucky- I don't remember Papa at all. Not a single thing about him.
So cute but I have to say...that little Sara is you to a T! I just look at that great smile and it screams Jen to me.
Such great pictures (as always)! He really is such a "great"-grandpa :)
What a cute g-pa! I can tell your kids love spending time with him and he with them.
Were the kids trying to hide in the luggage. Tigger did the same thing when I was getting packed for my mission.
So cute. What "great" g-pas your kids have!
How cute are your kids with your grandpa! Everyone loves their grandpa, and I totally miss mine!
