Busy Hands

Busy hands work in my garden.
Hands that are wise with experience,
patient and etched with the lines of caring.
Other hands are small and soft,
they rush and hurry throughout the day
and are learning with time to share.
The hands of the Matron guide those of the child.
Together they are a team.
The flowers that grow are just part of the doing.
The time spent together is more of a treasure.
