Caught in the Act!

With the coming of Sara into the family and the big kids being home for the break Katie has decided to finally turn 2 or 3 or whatever age it is that everyone always calls terrible. She is definitely struggling to get attention, even though I am trying so hard to give her as much as she's used to. I think she just knows that things are different. We have had a few days of naughtiness, let me tell you! Dave happened to be in the right place at the right time to get his picture. She said she was just smelling the cake. What do you think she was doing? Three guesses anyone?

Take special notice of the little finger getting into trouble around the back of the cake stand!

Talk about great timing Dave! Great move. What a clever little girl you have. And smart too. Of course she was just smelling it...with her finger right?

She even has the classic "deer in the headlights look"! I love it, so cute.

Surprise, I found your blog from the Phillips...hope you don't mind me snooping around :) It looks like you had a fun Christmas. Sara is a beautiful little baby. I am glad everything went well with her arrival.

Look at that face, she knows she's busted! After the kids are back in school and the hustle and bustle of holidays wear off, she'll be back to her angelic self, though I really doubt she was ever anything different!

We're dealing with a crazy little Elise too. What to do with our three year olds and a new baby around? I am sure you are much better at managing than I am. She does look too sweet and innocent here though. Gotta love it.
